World’s Most Famous Pig Gets Naked To Help Fight Swine Flu

December 10, 2009

MIAMI, FLORIDA – Following her arrest and brief detention in New Mexico amidst the chaos and confusion immediately following the media frenzy about a potentially deadly swine flu pandemic, Miss Piggy has agreed to shed her clothes and bare some skin in order to help increase swine flu awareness.Miss Piggy in a New Mexico Jail Cell

The deal was struck when Miss Piggy launched an aggressive P.R. campaign following her arrest in New Mexico.  During a radio appearance in which Mixx Piggy had hoped would serve as a venue for her to communicate her side of the story involving her arrest, she found herself speaking with a caller who happened to be involved with the non-profit calender geared towards helping raise money to promote swine fly awareness and helping to supply life-saving vaccinations to needy people in impoverished nations.

“I was a little uneasy at first, this being my first time nude in front of the camera. That said, it wasn’t nearly as bad as the New Mexico jail cell, and it was all for a good cause,” said Miss Piggy about the experience.  The calender is scheduled to be released later this month before the end of December.

I actually found this while researching information about Swine Flu. It is funny how everyone was blaming Mexico for the Swine flu, when the pigs they get there are imported from the US. I think all this Swine flu scare is getting bigger then it needs to be, and people need to learn to wash your hands and stop spreading germs so we can get rid of this.

My brother got infected with H1N1 or Swine Flu in Mexico. He got a mild fever and luckily he did not die.

If you look at the pandemic of 1977, when H1N1 or Swine Flu re-emerged after a 20 year absence, there is no shift in age-related mortality pattern. The 1977 “pandemic” is, of course, not considered a true pandemic by experts today, for reasons that are not entierely consistent. It certainly was an antigenic shift and not an antigenic drift. As far as I have been able to follow the current events, the most significant factor seems to have been that most people, who were severely affected, were people with other medical conditions.

Two of my cousins in Mexico got infected with the Swine Flu Virus. Thank God, they recovered well. It is a great news that the pandemic on swine flu is gone now.

We should be thankful that the swine flu did not spread very rapidly. it is not very deadly like Ebola but swine flu can still kill you.
