List of 10 Funny Domain Names that are For Sale

Domain names can be used for purposes other than to host personal and business websites, and to make money buying, selling and trading them.

Many domainers (including myself) register domain names solely for the purposes of entertainment. For me, registering humorous domains and then developing funny websites or finding that perfect comedic template for parked domains is what makes this line of business interesting and enjoyable enough to make a career out of it.

Sure, one can’t define their portfolio solely upon entertaining but not necessarily profitable names. However, I’ve found that by dedicating a little time to having some fun with my websites and domains, I am more focused and productive when engaging in the real nitty-gritty, for-profit work that unfortunately is far less entertaining than the former.

At least for me, I find that finding the right balance between having fun at work and doing the stuff that pays the bills produces the best results in the end.

Anyway, without further adieu, here is a list of 10 domains that I either registered, purchased or scooped up after being dropped — all for the sole purpose of making the daily grind a little less tedious and a little more fun. And just for the record, all of these domain names are for sale.

In no particular order, I present the illustrious ten:

1. ExplosiveDiarrhea.info – This domain actually features a fully-developed website that is perhaps a bit sophomoric in terms of its content but undeniably hilarious. The site does actually have some good medical-related articles on diarrhea, in addition to the knee-slapping videos, articles and yes, even poetry. Fantastic site, and extremely funny domain.
2. PortOPoty.com – This is a parked domain, but the template is absolutely hilarious. You’ll just have to see it for yourself.
3. UrinationStations.com – Same template as the previous domain, but nonetheless a very amusing name and design.
4. DefecationStations.com – Another one along the same lines as the previous two, but perhaps the funniest of them all.
5. Chalmations.com – This one might only be funny to people from the New Orleans area and Southeast Louisiana. However, if you do a little research on Chalmations (people from Chalmette, Louisiana), you’ll discover why this is in fact a very funny domain name.
6. OvalOrifice.com – Ah, nothing like a domain name registered in commemeration of the Clinton administration and its legacy. One look at this domain and you’ll be rolling on the floor laughing. Ah Bill, thanks for making yourself the butt of so many jokes.
7. Cockfighting.biz – Considering that the sport itself has been banned in all 50 U.S. States, I find it amusing that someone would not only register a domain like this but test the limits of free speech by posting videos of actual cockfights on the site. It’s one that’s definitely worth taking a look at.
8. Hell.ws – This site bills itself at “The Official Website of Hell”. Need I say anymore?
9. LearnShit.com – For the ignorant among us…
10. BeavisandButthead.tv – Funny site made as a tribute to America’s role models…
