Hello, and welcome to Fat Lester’s inaugural Domain Name Showcase.
This is the first is what I hope will become a regular series of featured “showcases” involving a specific domain name or names that is/are for sale. Anyone can have their names included in the showcase. To learn how to submit a request for consideration to have one of your domains featured in the showcase, please refer to this post.
Without further adieu, our first-ever featured domain showcase:
Showcase #1: Electronic Trading Systems
Our first showcase involves a set of domain names owned by “David”.
The domains involved are as follows:
- ElectronicTradingSystems.com
- ElectronicTradingSystems.net
- ElectronicTradingSystems.org
- ElectronicTradingSystems.biz
- ElectronicTradingSystems.us
Showcase Update: I just got an email from David. Talk about synchronicity: “Peter, I thought that the lead story on the Wall Street Journal today about the rise of Electronic Trading Systems, was both timely and interesting,” wrote David.
Quoting from Journal:
“Years and years ago, [floor traders] were working; they would physically represent every order they got. Now, they don’t need to do that. They can do that electronically.”
In 2006, the NYSE launched a hybrid system that relies on both massive computer systems as well as floor traders who tote electronic devices.”
David made sure to register all of the significant generic extensions so that whoever ends up buying the names from David can rest assured knowing that his or her brand is safe from cybersquatters and overzealous competition.
In David’s own words:
“The concept of Electronic Trading Systems is the tectonic shift from phone trading and banking to the use of the PC and the Internet, to trade any type of securities, from any portal, in any currency, from any country, for any purpose, with efficiencies of scale, cost, and ability to customize any front end, middle end, and type of back end trading system.
Electronic Trading Systems also facilitate the financial processing, settlement, and clearing of all types of world-wide global banking and securities. All Exchanges, Mutual Funds, Hedge Funds, Software Developers, Investment Banks, Banks, Risk Managers, Pension Funds, Insurance Companies, individuals, and various intermediary interests including third party regulators, are all users, participants, creators, developers, and vendors of electronic trading systems.
There’s over 5 million links on Google after the search query, electronic trading systems, is typed:
I want to sell all of the URL’s at the same time, as they all have the same name and have a corner on the market.”
If you are interested in purchasing this set of domain names involving electronic trading systems from David, please fill out this form and we will have him contact you regarding the domains.

Electronic Trading Systems (Domain Names)…
“In 2006, the NYSE launched a hybrid system that relies on both massive computer systems as well as floor traders who tote electronic devices…”…
Interesting concept. I wonder why the buzz-word “electronic trading systems” is only now starting to catch-on. I would have thought that such a perfectly descriptive term would be a household name by now.
It is a great post for the trading systems. I gave a glance to all those links and found it to be very useful… I have bookmarked this site for my future reference.
